INTERNATIONAL SOFTBALL CONGRESS - ISC II Division
When the International Softball Congress presented its World Tournament in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, August 9 -17, a companion event
was held at the same time. While the ISC was being hosted at the main diamond,
the Peter Hallman Ballyard, the ISC II started off at nearby Bud Park and finish up at the Peter Hallman Ballyard.
The I.S.C. II tournament had its inaugural run in Kitchener-Waterloo in August
2002.
Nineteen teams plus the host team (Kitchener Pride) competed in the event which included three days of round-robin play in pools of five teams each followed by a single-elimination playoff to determine the championship. All competing teams
played a minimum of four games with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the playoffs.
International Softball Congress Area Tournaments was the process used to
select and qualify the 19 teams that advanced to the showdown in Kitchener-Waterloo.
Press releases for this year's ISC II Tournament will provide information on the dates, locations, costs, formats, and contact persons for those tournaments which will qualify teams to participate in the first I.S.C. II event.
These will be posted on this website in the very near future.
The International Softball Congress would like to encourage all teams to enter the tournament in their area which can put them in contention for a spot in what promises to be a most interesting international event,
which by the way will be hosted at the same time and the nearby location of
Appleton, Wisconsin for this year's 2003 ISC II World Tournament.

Please Note: The ISC Atlantic Commissioner can only appoint one (1) berth
into the ISC II Tournament for 2003. This team will be selected either
through a qualifying ISC II Tournament, a final winner of an ISC II Travel League
sanctioned by the Atlantic ISC Commissioner, Mr. Robert Bernard or if we have
only one team interested in going, an appointment of such team (depending on the
level and quality of players) may be entertained in order to send a team to attend the 2003 ISC II Tournament.

Commissioner at the following contact numbers:
